Cleveland:

The WZLE-WENZ "kiss" war could be near an end with WENZ rumoured to give up the Kiss handle in exchange for free billboard space. Clear Channel owns billboards in the Cleveland market.

Akron-Canton:

WSTB-FM 88.9 (V-Rock) is slated to switch over to modern rock at the start of fall. The station was all-heavy metal.-Plain Dealer

Youngstown:

Clear Channel recently changed the call letters of WKBN-FM to WMXY-FM (Mix Youngstown)-Youngstown Vindicator

Gocom faces a complaint about the ADA-Business-Journal

Toledo-Northwest Ohio:

Defiance's WDFM-FM becomes Mix 98.1,which matches Clear Channel's mix outlets in Ohio.Call letter change will follow.

WTOL-TV newsman (and former WSPD-AM host) Jerry Anderson filled in for current AM host Mark Standriff recently. Anderson will fill in for him again later this month.-Toledo Blade
